María Martínez Matarredona

My name is María, I’m 23 years old, and I will turn 24 on the 5th of November. I am from Spain and I have been raised in Alcoy, a city near Alicante although recently I have been living in Cuenca where I have been studying. Nowadays I am in the third year of a double degree in pre-Primary and Primary Education and I work as a monitor at summer schools and camps and also in a restaurant and during events.

Among the things that I love there is football; I really love watching football matches. Furthermore, I love reading and watching series or movies, but what I love best is spending time with my family and friends. I look forward to work as a Such Funner during my time in the Netherlands to get more experience, and to learn about how to teach children from a different country and of different ages. I hope this experience will help me in the future, because I would like to become an English and Physical Education teacher. During my time in the Netherlands I will be staying in Tilburg and I will be studying at Fontys University, where I hope I will get to know people from different countries and also I will get to know other cultures.

Me llamo María, tengo 23 años, cumpliré 24 el 5 de noviembre. He crecido y vivo en España, en una ciudad cerca de Alicante que se llama Alcoy. Estudio un doble grado en Educación Infantil y Primaria en una ciudad que se llama Cuenca y trabajo como monitora en un campamento y escuela de verano y también en un restaurante y eventos. Entre las cosas que me encantan está el fútbol, me gusta mucho ver partidos de futbol, también me gusta mucho leer, ver series y películas, y lo que más me gusta en el mundo es estar con mi familia y con mis amigos. Tengo muchas ganas de trabajar con Such Fun mientras esté en Países Bajos para ganar experiencia y para aprender sobre niños de otro país y de diferentes edades. Espero que esta experiencia me ayude para mi futuro porque me gustaría convertirme en una profesora de Inglés y de Educación Física. Mientras esté en Países Bajos, voy a vivir en Tilburg, y voy a estudiar en la Universidad Fontys donde espero conocer gente de otros países y también de otras culturas.
