Lou Werre-brouck (BE)

Hello everyone,

My name is Lou, I’m 21 years old, and I come from Liège, Belgium. I am currently studying at HELMo Sainte-Croix, where I am training to become an English and Dutch teacher.

I have always been passionate about learning and discovering languages, as well as exploring their cultural aspects. At school, I studied English and Dutch, and I also learned a little Spanish. These experiences helped me develop a strong interest in languages and communication.

Thanks to my studies, I have had the opportunity to teach in both primary and secondary schools. These teaching experiences were extremely enriching, and I learned many valuable lessons from my mentors, my peers, and the children themselves. They helped me grow both professionally and personally.

I am very happy to have the opportunity to take part in the Erasmus programme and SuchFun, as it allows me to discover the Dutch school system and broaden my perspective on education.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my friends, going to the cinema, or simply having a coffee and relaxing.
On Tuesday I will be teaching at KC De Terp with Alexandra, Louis and Simone and on Thursday I will be teaching at KC Sterrenboom with Louis and Simone.

Je m’appelle Lou, j’ai 21 ans et je viens de Liège, en Belgique. Je suis actuellement étudiante à HELMo Sainte-Croix, où je me forme pour devenir enseignante en anglais et en néerlandais.

J’ai toujours été passionnée par l’apprentissage et la découverte des langues, ainsi que par leurs aspects culturels. À l’école, j’ai étudié l’anglais et le néerlandais, et j’ai également appris un peu d’espagnol. Ces expériences m’ont permis de développer un réel intérêt pour les langues et la communication.

Grâce à mes études, j’ai eu l’opportunité d’enseigner aussi bien dans l’enseignement primaire que secondaire. Ces expériences ont été extrêmement enrichissantes et m’ont permis d’apprendre de nombreuses choses précieuses grâce à mes maitres de stage, à mes pairs et aux enfants eux-mêmes. Elles m’ont aidée à grandir tant sur le plan professionnel que personnel.

Je suis très heureuse et reconnaissante d’avoir la chance de participer au programme Erasmus ainsi que celui de SuchFun, car cela me permet de découvrir le système scolaire néerlandais et d’élargir ma vision de l’éducation.

Pendant mon temps libre, j’aime passer du temps avec mes amis, aller au cinéma ou simplement prendre un café et me détendre.

Le mardi j’enseignerai à ‘KC De Terp’ à Rosmalen avec Alexandra, Louis and Simone. Le jeudi je serai à KC Sterrenboom avec Louis.
