Helena Pérez Barón (E)

Hi everyone!

My name is Helena and I’m 22 years old. I’m from Alicante, a city in the east coast of Spain with beautiful beaches, sunny weather and a lively atmosphere.

I just finished my studies in Translation and Interpreting where I studied French, English, Italian and Valencian. I’m a curious and open-minded person and I love getting to know people from different countries and learning from their culture and languages. I’m very excited to be here and help you learn new languages while learning from you too!

In my free time I love traveling, meeting my friends and practicing sports. I’ve practiced rhythmic gymnastics for more than 15 years and I also enjoy other sports such as running, football and basketball.

This year, I will stay in the Netherlands as an Erasmus- volunteer. It will be a gap year between my bachelor’s degree and my master’s. I will be working with Such Fun on Mondays at KC Meander and KC Sterrenboom with Simone and Louise. The rest of the week I’ll be working in two other schools in Waalwijk.

Me llamo Helena y tengo 22 años. Soy de Alicante, una ciudad en la costa este de España con playas preciosas, buen tiempo and un ambiente lleno de vida.

Acabo de terminar la carrera de Traducción e Interpretación, donde he estudiado Francés, Inglés, Italiano y Valenciano. Soy una persona curiosa y abierta, me gusta conocer gente de diferentes países y aprender de su cultura e idioma. ¡ Estoy muy contenta de estar aquí y ayudaros a aprender nuevos idiomas a la vez que yo aprendo de vosotros!

En mi tiempo libre me gusta viajar, quedar con mis amigos y practicar deportes. He practicado gimnasia rítmica durante 15 años pero también me gustan otros deportes como correr, el fútbol o el baloncesto.

Este año, estaré en los Paisos Bajos como una voluntaria de Erasmus, serà un año de reflexión entre mi Carrera y mi Master. Estaré trabajando con Such Fun los lunes en KC Meander y KC Sterrenboom con Simone y Louise. El resto de la semana estaré trabajando en otros dos colegios en Waalwijk.
