Hello everyone,

I’m Mister Alex from Belgium, and I’m currently in the final year of my bachelor’s degree to become an English and Dutch teacher in secondary education.

Choosing the Netherlands for my Erasmus was an obvious decision for me—it’s the perfect blend of Dutch and English, set in a country I find truly amazing.

This experience is also a fantastic opportunity to further develop my teaching skills and learn from educators with different backgrounds and approaches.

At the same time, it will also be a new challenge for me. In Belgium, modern language education starts at the age of eight, so this will be my first time teaching very young children.

But with plenty of enthusiasm and energy, I’m ready to take on this adventure!

I have a deep passion for English, which I incorporate into all my hobbies, whether it’s reading, playing video games, or anything in between.

Je suis Monsieur Alex, originaire de Belgique, et je suis actuellement en dernière année de mon baccalauréat pour devenir professeur d’anglais et de néerlandais dans l’enseignement secondaire.

Choisir les Pays-Bas pour mon Erasmus était une évidence pour moi : c’est un mélange parfait entre le néerlandais et l’anglais, dans un pays que je trouve génial.

Cette expérience est aussi une excellente occasion de développer davantage mes compétences pédagogiques et d’apprendre auprès d’enseignants aux parcours et méthodes variés.

Cela dit, ce sera aussi une nouvelle aventure pour moi.

En Belgique, l’apprentissage des langues modernes commence à huit ans, donc ce sera ma première expérience avec de très jeunes enfants. Mais avec beaucoup d’enthousiasme et d’énergie, je suis prêt à relever ce défi !

Je suis passionné par l’anglais, et j’intègre cette langue dans tous mes loisirs, que ce soit la lecture, les jeux vidéo ou bien d’autres activités.
