Hi everyone!!

My name is Alba and I’m from Madrid, in Spain. I’m 20 years old and I’m in my third year of university, studying Early Childhood Education. In Madrid I live with my mum, dad, younger sister and my dog, whose name is Iris.

In my free time, I love going to the cinema, reading and swimming. Also, I love spending time with my family and friends. One thing I enjoy a lot is traveling and getting to know new places and cultures.

Since I was little I wanted to become a teacher as I love being around children and helping them in their learning and development.

I’m going to be living and studying in The Netherlands for 6 months, so I hope to learn a lot from its culture, language and traditions. In addition, thanks to Such Fun, I hope to learn how education works here, so I can have new ideas and learn more about this profession. I will be studying Bilingual education at Fontys on Mondays and Fridays, and I will be teaching English with Such Fun on Tuesdays and Thursdays. On Tuesdays I will be at bs Noorderlicht and on KC Thursdays I will be at Caleidoscoop.

I’m really excited to start this new experience.

Mi nombre es Alba y soy de Madrid, en España. Tengo 20 años y estoy en tercero en la universidad donde estoy estudiando educación infantil. En Madrid vivo con mi madre, padre, mi hermana pequeña y mi perro, que se llama Iris.

En mi tiempo libre me encanta ir al cine y leer, además de nadar. También me encanta pasar tiempo con mi familia y amigos. Una cosa de la que disfruto mucho es viajar y conocer nuevos lugares y culturas.

Desde que era pequeña he querido ser profesora, ya que me encanta estar con niños y poder ayudarles en su aprendizaje y crecimiento como personas.

Voy a estar en Países Bajos viviendo y estudiando durante 6 meses, por lo que espero aprender mucho sobre la cultura, idioma y tradiciones de este país. Además, gracias a Such Fun, espero aprender cómo funciona la educación aquí para poder ganar ideas y conocer más esta profesión. Estaré estudiando el programa de educación bilingüe en Fontys los lunes y viernes, mientras que los martes y jueves estaré enseñando inglés con Such Fun. Los martes estaré en bs Noorderlicht y los jueves en KC Caleidoscoop.

Tengo muchas ganas de empezar esta nueva experiencia.
