The Erasmus+ accreditation allows teachers, headteachers and other staff at ATO – Scholenkring to work on the objectives of our Erasmus-plan by collaborating and learning with international colleagues abroad. The four pillar of our plan are the improvement of the proficiency and didactics in English, Special Educational Needs, ownership of pupils and teachers and sustainability.
After very successful editions of ‘Ato in Dublin ๐ฎ๐ช ‘ (2x), ‘Ato and SEN in Malta ๐ฒ๐น ‘ and ‘Ato and PE&CLIL in Murcia ๐ช๐ธ ‘, colleagues can sign up for ‘Ato in Florence ๐ฎ๐น ‘ in the first week of the upcoming May break (20th-26th April 2025). They can choose between many different interesting courses, which will allow them not only to further improve their English but also to meet colleagues from all over Europe to learn about education outside of the Netherlands, possibly leading to the participation in international (eTwinning-)projects. All participants so far have always been eager to implement the take-aways from the course in their own classroom, PE hall or SEN- setting.
On 13th March we will get together for the preparatory meeting and on 17th June we will get together for the dissemination meeting, which are both compulsory. Participants who would like to join us should ask permission of their headteacher before they get in touch with me. Don’t wait too long for first come, first served!
You will hear more about ‘Ato in Florence ๐ฎ๐น ‘ as well as the ‘Ato in Portugal ๐ต๐น ‘ job-shadowing week (11th-16th May) and the ‘Ato in Dublin- summer edition ๐ฎ๐ช ‘ week from 6th-13th July soon!
