23rd September was a very festive and proud day at bs Noorderlicht, where pupils, team and Such Funners have worked on the most inspiring eTwinning projects such as Twins celebrate (cultural heritage), the Un-bee-lievable story (biodiversity) and of course our unforgettable Top Secret project (sustainability). Global citizenship at its finest. They were awarded the eTwinning school label a recognition for innovative, digital and creative teaching in schools with shared leadership.
In the morning group 1-2 Fox from miss Femke van Bentum videocalled their friends in Beniaján (Spain). They are partners in the Twins Celebrate project. Paulo from the Netherlands and his twinsister Nina from Spain told each other what celebrations the day had in store for them and sang a song together.
For the reveal of the eTwinning school label Kasia Bruning and Jerney Pompe from eTwinning – Nuffic came to Noorderlicht and brought big eTwinning balloons for children involved in the Twins celebrate and the Un-bee-lievable story eTwinning projects. It was a day to remember!
